This is the first step in improving your health and lifestyle.

I'm ready to get started now.

My journey to Tidewater Bariatrics started as many do, I was obese and had tried it all: I dealt cards to diet, counted points, and ate everything except wheat...with no success. After attending the TWB Orientation, I thought..."why not?" I signed up in June 2012 and, at the time, I struggled with high blood pressure, high cholesterol and high blood sugar. I was greeted with just what I need to help me on the path to weight loss and healthy living; hopeful support and very patient people. It is now March of 2013 and I am 72 pounds lighter than I was when I began attending TWB. Better yet, no more high blood pressure, no more high cholesterol and no more high blood sugar! It is a relief to no longer have to fill my body with medicines in order to feel healthy. My BMI is in t he "normal range" and my pant size dropped from an 18 to an 8! Over all feel GREAT! I achieved this through hard work and an 80% diet and 20% exercise plan (I am an overachiever and do a little extra exercise). TWB worked for me because of the no nonsense approach to health! The staff work as a true team to support the clients. Dr. Gaglione addresses physical issues as well as mental health issues which provides TWB patients with a holistic and thorough approach to weight loss and overall health! I truly thank and appreciate everyone at TWB for their support, guidance, and occasional kind kick in the pants! I appreciate the members of the classes who joined in on the journey - your support is amazing!!! This has not been an easy journey, but is has been a successful journey and I look forward to a healthy life!
